Children's Ministry

Our ministry seeks to meet the spiritual, mental, emotional, and physical needs of children while teaching them about Jesus Christ in a fun and age-appropriate way. It not only cares for the children of church attendees during the church's services, but also reaches into the surrounding community with kid's clubs, vacation Bible schools, and the like.

 

Sunday Morning

 

1st Steps - 
Newborn-2 yrs. – Nurturing of each child by meeting their physical and emotional needs while in our care.

 

Rainbows -
Boys/Girls class 3-5 yrs - Will learn about Noah’s life, family and the Ark.

 

Stars -
Girls class 6-12 yrs.  Will learn everything Jesus commands us to do while developing spiritually and mentally.

 

Rangers -
Boys class 6-12 yrs. – Will learn how to say no to drugs, gangs and peer pressure and how to make the right choices.

 

Each child will earn a vest/sash for coming to class and monthly will earn a badge for completion and memorizing verses.  All children come together after class for a  time of worship and prayer.

 

Wednesday Evening
The church enjoys a pot-luck dinner with a Bible study directly afterward. Child-care is offered during the Bible study, and volunteers are always welcome.

 

Mission Teams
Mission teams are welcome to help with the children's ministry here helping to facilitate large-scale children's outreach in neighboring towns. Call the church office to speak with Maria Dolores Graves, our children's director for more information
